From Pollution to Solution,
Join the Revolution

Hey, I'm Shannon.
Welcome to my version of a midlife crisis: stepping outside my comfort zone, learning to live my values, and figuring out what my financial independence actually looks like in day to day life.
First I tried crypto and that experiment was a complete failure. The surprising part is that I do not regret it because it taught me exactly what does and does not work for me.
So when Corsair came across my path, I did not jump right in. It took hearing about it four or five times before I even started researching. I asked hard questions and I dug into their mission and method of operations.
This matters to me because I vote with my dollars. I reduce, reuse, thrift, and upcycle as much as I can. I grow as much of my own food as the seasons allow. When I shop, I choose brands with integrity because I still have to buy things I cannot make or grow, or things I just want, like organic fair trade chocolate!
I cannot control everything upstream, so I make different choices where and when I can. I am always looking for ways to do better.
During my research on Corsair International, three things shifted my skepticism into belief and belief into action. I learned about Trash 4 Cash, where people in the Khlong Toei community in Bangkok earn real income collecting plastic from the streets where they live. I learned about the Catching Plastic Initiative, where more than 100,000 fishermen across Thailand get paid for every kilo of ocean plastic they bring in. And I learned that when Corsair's leadership visited that community in Thailand, they did not just observe, they donated funds to build a home for a family in need and they provided 5,200 meals to people experiencing homelessness.
That was the moment I knew I was ready to take action. This company is not just recycling for corporate profit. This is a company that sees the people most harmed by plastic pollution and gives them a real way to earn income while solving it.
If you are anything like me, you already know plastic pollution is devastating. What you may not know is that a real working solution already exists, and people like us can participate in it right now.
Through Corsair Connect you can put your dollars to work in real time, directly funding the collection and recovery of plastic from the environment. And if you choose to share the mission with others, you earn a commission doing it. Whether you want to help the planet or build community and income alongside it, there are two simple paths in.

THE VIDEOS THAT CHANGED MY MIND
This is what pushed me over the edge to say yes. These three programs are the reason I stopped researching and started participating. Watch them first. Then decide.
Not sure plastic pollution is really that big of a deal? Watch this first.
Here is what Corsair actually does. They pull plastic directly out of oceans, waterways, and communities, and they intercept it at the source by partnering with hospitals, grocery stores, and businesses before it ever becomes pollution. That plastic gets chemically recycled through a process called pyrolysis, which melts it back down into oil. That oil gets sold back to manufacturers so less crude oil needs to be pulled from the earth to make new plastic. Plastic goes in, oil comes out, new plastic gets made with less harm to the planet, and the cycle starts again. Corsair currently produces pyrolysis oil from two facilities, one in Thailand and one in Finland, and they are building more around the world.
When you make a contribution toward a Plastic Removal Package, five things happen.
The planet wins.
The company wins.
Local communities win.
Corsair Connect Partners win.
You win.
Your contribution means you receive a CSR Plastic Credit that releases in stages over two years. This is not a get rich quick program it is a long term eco-asset in a company doing real documented global work. I contributed knowing the full timeline and hold my CSR plastic credits willingly and peacefully.
If patient and purposeful is how you already live, you are in exactly the right place. Here’s a snapshot of the timeline.5% of your credit releases right away.
5% releases at week 26 (about 6 months).
15% releases at week 52 (about 1 year).
25% releases at week 78 (about 18 months).
50% releases at week 104 (at the 2 year mark).
The reason credits release gradually is actually a feature, not a limitation. It keeps the ecosystem stable, prevents flooding the market, and ensures the value of every credit is protected over time. Think of it like a fruit tree. You do not get the whole harvest on the first day. You tend it, you wait, and the reward grows.
I’m interested in staying up to date with this mission to clean the planet from plastic pollution!
